College Exhibition: Monash University Degree Show 2006

Graduating students from the Industrial Design department at Monash University in Melbourne, Australia, presented their work in the annual degree show in December 2006. The show featured the work of Industrial Design students who have just completed a four year undergraduate degree. Saab 9-3 Convertible – Last 26 RHD cars up for grabs The last 26 RHD Saab 9-3 Convertible models – hand finished in Sweden – are now for sale in the UK from £22,750. Back in March – at the same time we reported the Saab Museum had re-opened – we were also able to report that ANA, the Saab dealers in Trollhatten, have bought up the part-made cars left on the Saab production line and were going to finish them off and put them up for sale. Fortunately for UK Saab lovers, 26 of those cars were RHD Saab 9-3 Convertibles - including the very last limited edition Saab 9-3 Independence – and they have now found their way to the UK and are up for grabs.

Fiat 500L launches

The Fiat 500L – a larger Fiat 500 based on the Punto – has launched in Italy ahead of going on sale in the UK in early 2013. We had the official arrival of the Fiat 500L at the Geneva Motor Show in March, and now we get the 500L’s official launch in Turin – together with lots of new photos and a video – before the 500L goes on sale around the world. The 500L is actually based on the underpinnings of the Punto to create a 500 MPV and, sensibly, Fiat has done with the 500L  what MINI did with the Countryman and slapped an iconic badge on even though the 500L bears scant resemblance to its cute little sibling.
